Three months without a subscription fee; verified payment method and explicit recurring consent required.
Version 2
Page updated: 24 October 2026
This revision applies only to new business applications that expressly accept it when the new enrolment flow is available. Previously accepted agreements and existing paid or already-started trial subscriptions are not changed by this revision.
1. Parties
Buurted VOF, KVK 42095544, VAT NL869693876B01, Loes van Marlestraat 11, 1382 ML Weesp, info@buurted.nl (“Buurted”). “You” or “the Business” means the business holding a business account.
These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service. Where they differ, these prevail.
2. What a business account is
A business account gives you a profile in the neighbourhoods Buurted operates in, the ability to publish posts and offers, and access to the loyalty and content tools in your tier.
Buurted is a platform. We do not sell your goods or services, are not a party to what you agree with a customer, and do not act as your agent.
3. Eligibility
You are registered with the KVK, or an equivalent business established in the EU.
You are 18 or over and authorised to agree on behalf of the business.
Your details are accurate and kept current.
One account per location, unless your tier allows more.
You are responsible for holding the licences, certifications and insurance your services require. We do not check this.
4. Who may act for you
The current Local and Business packages do not include separate staff accounts or multi-location access. Do not share your login credentials. You remain responsible for the business information and content you submit.
5. Tiers, prices and VAT

Price changes: we give at least 30 days’ notice by email. If you do not accept, you may cancel before the effective date and the change will not apply to you.
6. Payment, trial, term and cancellation
Payments are processed by Mollie. Before starting a trial, you choose your plan and expressly authorise recurring monthly payments using the payment method you verify. The confirmation shows the trial duration and the total monthly price payable afterwards.
Eligible new businesses receive three calendar months without a subscription fee on Local or Business. The trial starts only after the payment method has been successfully verified and the required business details are complete; the account is then activated automatically. Existing paid subscriptions and trials already started under earlier terms are not converted to this arrangement.
Card verification is EUR 0: no verification payment is collected. Choosing iDEAL requires a one-off EUR 0.01 verification payment and authorises subsequent collection by SEPA Direct Debit. This verification payment is separate from the subscription fee and is disclosed before you continue.
After the free trial, Local costs EUR 19 per month and Business costs EUR 59 per month, including VAT. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected monthly amount is collected automatically in advance and the subscription renews monthly until cancelled. Subscription management shows your actual trial end and first billing date; the first subscription charge will not be earlier than three calendar months after activation.
Cancel through subscription management in the app before the trial ends to avoid any subscription fee. Cancellation during the trial stops the scheduled paid renewal; trial access remains until the displayed end date, provided the account is otherwise eligible. The iDEAL verification payment is not a subscription fee. If you cannot access cancellation, contact info@buurted.nl before the trial ends.
After paid renewal, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period shown in the app. Monthly paid subscriptions continue until cancelled; no annual subscription is offered by this checkout. For changes between paid plans, an upgrade takes effect after payment of the displayed prorated difference for the remaining period; a downgrade takes effect at the next renewal. No additional charge is authorised merely by viewing a plan change.
7. Failed payment
If payment fails, the payment provider and Buurted may request payment again. Access depends on the actual payment and subscription status shown in the app. Unpaid or expired access can restrict publishing and paid features. We do not promise fixed day-3/day-7 retries or a 30-day loyalty grace period. You remain responsible for rewards already promised to customers; contact info@buurted.nl before closing a programme with outstanding rewards.
8. Refunds
Ordinary cancellation does not create a pro-rata refund for the current monthly period; access continues to its stated end where the account is otherwise eligible. For a billing error, non-delivery or a refund required by law, contact info@buurted.nl. Mandatory rights are not excluded, including where Buurted itself has failed to perform.
9. What you publish
You are responsible for everything published from your account: posts, offers, images, prices, product claims, opening hours, loyalty rewards, and anything made with our AI tools that you choose to publish.
Your content is accurate and not misleading, and complies with Dutch and EU consumer, advertising, product safety and price indication law.
You hold the rights to any image, logo or text you upload.
You honour any offer and price for as long as you publish it.
You comply with the Business Content Policy, which forms part of these terms.
You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your content within Buurted while your account is active. If we want to use your content outside the app, for example on social media, we ask separately. You keep ownership.
10. Customer personal data
Do not enter personal data about customers or residents into the AI tools.
If you run a loyalty card, the Loyalty Terms apply. You may use participants’ data only to operate the programme.
11. What we do not promise
We provide a platform. We do not promise results.
No reach, views, visitors, footfall, enquiries, revenue or customers.
No minimum number of residents on Buurted, at launch or later.
No uninterrupted availability. We may change or remove features.
Anything said in a sales conversation, presentation or marketing material about expected results is an estimate, not a commitment.
12. Listing and ranking
Paid promotion can affect the position or visibility of content. Paid placements are identified in the app. A subscription does not guarantee a particular ranking, reach or result, and list order is not a quality or reliability assessment.
13. Liability
Our total liability over any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, with a minimum of €500.
We are not liable for indirect loss, including lost profit, lost revenue, lost customers, lost data or reputational harm.
Nothing here limits our liability for intent or deliberate recklessness, or any other liability that mandatory law does not permit us to limit.
14. Indemnity
You indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, offers, loyalty rewards, goods or services, or your breach of these terms, including reasonable legal costs.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these terms, for unlawful content, for non-payment as described in clause 7, or where the law requires it.
Where we remove content or restrict your account, we say why and how to object. See the Notice and Action Procedure.
16. Changes, law and disputes
We give at least 30 days’ notice of a material change. If you do not accept, you may cancel before it takes effect.
Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
