AI Content Terms — Buurted

Effective from 23 September 2026.

1. What the tool does

Buurted offers tools that generate draft text and images for posts and flyers based on what you enter. The output is a draft. You decide whether to publish it.

2. You are responsible for what you publish

Once you publish AI-generated content from your account, it is your content and your responsibility, exactly as if you had written it yourself.

Check every draft before publishing.

Correct anything inaccurate, particularly prices, discounts, dates, opening hours, ingredients and allergens.

Do not publish health, medical, therapeutic, safety or environmental claims you cannot substantiate.

Do not use generated content naming or depicting a real person or another business without permission.

3. Accuracy

AI makes mistakes. Output can be factually wrong, out of date or misleading, and can look convincing while being incorrect. We provide the tool as-is and do not warrant that output is accurate, lawful, original or fit for your purpose.

4. Rights in the output

As between you and us, you may use the generated content for your business, on Buurted and elsewhere. We claim no ownership. We cannot guarantee output is unique; similar output may be generated for another business.

5. Labelling

We may indicate in the app that a post or image was created with AI. Where the law requires AI-generated content to be identifiable, you are responsible for any labelling required of you.

6. Fair use

AI generation is not unlimited. The current Local allowance is 4 generations per month and the Business allowance is 100. Where additional generation is available after the allowance is used, each extra generation costs 2 credits from your existing balance. A generation request can therefore spend credits; review the usage and cost shown in the app before requesting it. The free trial does not include AI generation. A failed generation is handled through the existing allowance or credit refund process.

7. What you must not do

Generate content that is unlawful, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit or violent.

Generate content imitating another business’s brand or misleading residents about who they are dealing with.

Use the tool for content unrelated to your business or your neighbourhood presence.

Generate at scale by automated means, or resell access to the tool.

8. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from AI-generated content you publish, including claims about accuracy, advertising standards, consumer law or third-party rights.

9. What happens to your input

Business content generation uses Microsoft Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI image generation. The request can include your business name, instructions, offer or loyalty details, logo and any supplied reference image. Do not include customer or resident personal data, confidential information or material you have no right to upload. Processing is not guaranteed to remain within the EEA, and we do not promise zero provider retention. Microsoft processes requests under its applicable service and data-protection terms. Other Buurted AI functions can analyse resident listing images and community text; business generation is not the only AI data flow.
